Our retail outlet on Planet Earth is called Fair Deal Music. We are the only musical instrument shop that is located in central Birmingham - we are a mere 2 minute walk from New Street Train Station and have been established for over 20 years. From viewing our extensive product catalogue you will see that we carry a vast range of instruments. The website is monitored and updated daily by our crew. We are constantly adding features and resources to make your visit more exciting each time you return. Orders are downloaded on a daily basis and sent to the relevant departments at our purpose built warehouse where they are picked and then primed for despatch.
Our aim is to bring you the best deals in music retail. If you require something a little different i.e. 12 string bass guitar, 7 string fretless guitar (they do exist!!!), 5 string electric violin, etc... then please email us on sales@fairdealmusic.com and with the aid of our sixth sense we shall try to source whatever it is you require.
Free guitar set-up with custom packaging and insured delivery
Contrary to popular belief most guitars do not play well with their original factory set up. A large amount of TLC and rehabilitation is required for the instrument of your dreams to come alive. A high percentage of guitar retailers DO NOT set up the instruments that you see on their walls and most of the time you will be lucky if they are in tune.
For all our new guitars purchased, we offer a special service free of charge. All of our guitars (electric, acoustic and bass) are set up before leaving HQ by one of our skilled technicians to ensure maximum playability when it first reaches the hands it was intended for.

Order tracking
A confirmation email will be sent to you from http://www.interlinkexpress.com/ when your items are despatched with details and tracking facilities. You can track your order on-line by using your unique order reference number. We are now also offering an SMS alert messaging service to our customers - a mobile number is required for this on the order.

Free digital piano repairs
For digital piano customers in the UK, we offer home repairs from a local engineer in your area. All costs will be covered by Fairdeal Music if the fault is covered within the manufacturers warranty agreement.
After sales support
Communication is our Language...
It has being noticed that a major customer gripe was not being able to contact key employees in person. Some companies shielded themselves behind email and fax contact details avoiding speaking to customers. At Fairdeal Music we pride ourselves in providing both product and technical crew members to speak directly with you if you prefer.
We offer a 7 day cooling off period on our guitar set ups, by setting up the instrument this also acts as a double security mechanism. We know that at the point of despatching the guitar to you, your instrument is in first class condition. However, in the unfortunate case of it becoming damaged in transit, we shall arrange collection and re-delivery of the same model within a time frame that is convenient to you.
Postage costs
As it says above!!! We have a pricing policy 'what you see is what you get'. All prices include VAT delivery is calculated on the item size, item value and service requirement to get your package from A to B. The delivery charges are quoted on the checkout page. We have given you 'the worst case scenario' on the delivery times. We are not here to make promises that we cannot keep.
There is a facility for you to upgrade to Express Delivery on the Checkout page at a further cost of £10 inc. to ensure faster delivery.
